This artwork was longtime in my mind. In december 2011 I wanted to challenge myself with architecture and perspective drawing. It wasn't that easy. The time I was on it was defenitely a month after arguing with perspective, texture, light and shadow, those things almost killed me. In the meantime I was on the edge of despair to give up, but I don't wanted to leave hold on finishing it. I am not quite satisfied with the result, but anytime you have to come to an end.
So here is it. I A long time I was not sure of the female person, wether it should be Adha or Maria. Decide yourself! I'd rather tend to Adha, but it's up to you. The scene actually should be the first meeting between Altair and Adha ( in my imagination). They first regarde each other in mutual distrust, Altair surpress a sneer about the fact, wether she could handle a dagger or not. That seems to offend her... imagine, how the story could go on...
I encourage you to tie in with the story! I am exited of it!
Here is a link from a very good fanfiction writer, that nailed my story for that artwork nearly perfect:[link]
I am blown away by your art and your eye on details, I am also an artist who likes this type of art. You are an inspiration to me and I will try to work as hard as you and challange myself to do something with prespective, which happens to be my greatest enemy!!!!!
Absolutely stunning, to say the very least! This blows my mind! The texture, shading, detail...everything! Where did you learn how to digitally paint like this?
practise, practice, patience, practise! ...And patience! And a book about perspective, nudesketching and inspiration from other digital artists here on DA. I needed 3 months to do this.
I have no words to describe my fascnination!!
